DATE : 21-02-2017 EVENT: Blood Donation Camp
The NSS unit of PEC has organized a Blood Donation Camp on 21 Feb 2017 in association with the YRC to commemorate the birth day of the chairman Mr.P. Raja Rao
OUTCOME: “The students and staffs donated their blood for the good cause. More than 250 units of blood were collected on that day. The donors were given certificate to acknowledge their kind donation.”
DATE : 14-04-2017 EVENT: Tree Plantation Programme
The Tree plantation programme was conducted on 14-04-2017 to commemorate the world earth day
RESOURCE PERSON: Thiruvallur MLA V.G.Rajendran,

Captain R.G.Thayakaran, Director Placement, PEC.
OUTCOME: “About 200 saplings were planted by the NSS volunteers and proper fencing was made to safe guard from the cattle’s. Student group was formed for regular watering and to take care of the plants.”

National Youth Day was celebrated on 09-01-2017 at Prathyusha Engineering College by NSS volunteers

NSS Volunteers coordinated the events and volunteered in crowd management in Science Exhibition (PRAYOGA ‘17)

National Service Scheme (NSS) unit has conducted a survey in Arungalam Village, Thiruvallur Dist. on 30-01-18, which was adopted by Honorable Member of Parliament of Thiruvallur.
OUTCOME: “Our team of 20 vibrant NSS volunteers of first year will provide the basis needs of the village in association with Government organization to make it as a model village”
