Profile Of the Department
The Department of Placement, Training and Students Affairs is one of the active, Vibrant and popular Departments in Prathyusha. The Department carries out various Placement, Training and Student Welfare activities throughout the year. The Department is headed by Principal assisted by Placement Officer, Coordiantors from all Department and the Placement Staff.

The Department of Training, Placement and Students Affairs strongly believes in the adage

Keeping this in view the department has organises various training programmes for the benefit of the students. It is also pertinent to mention here that a lion share of the fee collection is spent on Training programmes for the benefit of the students.

Internship Programmes:
The Department of Training, Placement and Students Affairs has also arranged Internship Programmes for interested students during the year in various Government Organisation and industries.
Anna University Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme 2013-2014
We have added yet another feather to our cap by organizing the Anna university Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme 2013-2014 and TNSLPP 2014-2015 and around 3000 students hailing from various Engineering Colleges affiliated to Anna University, Chennai participated in this programme organized in association with Infosys Technologies, Chennai . Around 100 students from various colleges have been placed in Infosys Technologies through this placement programme. The participants felt that PITAM was a “Home away from home”.
Besides the above Recruitment Programmes students are also encouraged, trained and guided for participation in Anna University Tamil Nadu State Level Placement Programme and other Off campus Recruitment programmes organized from time to time. Students have been placed in Infosys Technologies & Cognizant Technology Solutions, through these programmes.
Awareness Seminar For Recruitment In Indian Armed Forces
With a view to explore new possibilities for Recruitment of Mechanical and EEE Students in Indian Navy and Merchant Marine, we organize regular awareness seminars for our Pre final and Final year students to don the uniform of our armed forces and merchant marine.
We are very happy to inform that with our continuous motivation and guidance three of our students have joined the portal of our Defense Services.
Mr. George Paul Clement of Information Technology Department has joined the Coast Guard as Commissioned Officer.

Though the Department left no stone unturned to impart necessary Training and grooming to enhance the employability of our students still we need to harvest bumper in placing our students in reputed MNCs. We strongly believe that we cannot bask in our past glory as “the best is always yet to be”.
