- To Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex Information Technology problems.
- To Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex Information Technology problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and Engineering sciences.

PEO-1: The graduates of Information Technology should be able to apply basic and contemporary science, engineering, experimentation skills to identifying software/hardware problems in the industry, government and academia and be able to develop practical solutions to them.

Final year students who ranked among the top 30 and reached the finals in the Flipkart GRiD Robotics Challenge 5.0 – 2024. Competing against 10,000 teams, they developed an autonomous pick-and-place arm with reorientation capabilities, leveraging computer vision, deep learning, and robotics.
